School Governance

The All Saints' School currently sits within a 18 acre multi-function property of the Anglican Diocese of Sabah. The school's facilities and structures are largely the Diocese's effort to bring about humanitarian development in Sabah, particularly those residing in Kota Kinabalu. This effort is carried out through a body known as the All Saints' School Board of Management.

The present day All Saints' Board of Management owes its existence to its predecessor - the All Saints’ School Advisory Council. Setup in the mid-1950s under the guidance of Rev. E.C.W. Rusted, the School Advisory Council functioned as a vehicle for members of the Alumni and prominent community leaders to render their expertise in the management of the school. When the Federation of Malaysia was established in 1963 and the Federation of Malaya’s Education Act 1961 was adopted, the School’ Advisory Council reconstituted itself into the All Saints’ School Board of Governors and later into the SM All Saints Board of Management.

The "hardware" of the All Saints' School is the purview of the Board of Management, while the "software" of the school is under the purview of the Malaysian Federal Government.

Hence, as it has been, the main function of the All Saints' School Board of Management is to render the Anglicann community's expertise in the management of the All Saints' School.
